            Many are familiar with the regular brunch at Nudy’s Café in Devon and all too familiar with the casual hour wit on Sundays just to get a savory bit of their cinnamon bun French toast, banana walnut pancakes or jumbo lump crabmeat and tomato omelet.

            But wouldn’t it be nice if you could simply visit their website, Nudyscafes.com, and within a few clicks, know that your French toast or your favorite signature salad would be ready for pick up in 15 minutes?

            No fuss, no hassle, just the same delicious Nudy’s food you’ve grown to love without the wait. Additionally each and every thing on the menu is available for online order and customizable to your liking. You pay online as well, so there is no waiting to pay for your online selection at the counter when you arrive.

            Can it get much better? Yes, it can. You can order the night before and choose a time for the following day to pick up your order. Nudy’s will make note of your pick-up time and have your order fresh and ready to go at the time of your arrival. Nudy’s online ordering is available at all seven locations.

            “I think it would be great because Nudy’s is a smaller location, and it gets hectic, so it would probably be easier for people to get all of their delicious food,” says senior Bianca Wilson.

            The owner and ultimate curator of all things delicious, Ray Nudy, is adamant about making sure the restaurant’s entry into the technological world will not change its emphasis on staying central to the community.

            “We are now incorporating technology to make Nudy’s more convenient but will not let it replace the community feel,” Nudy say.

            Nudy’s website was up and running late last year, with the online ordering implemented this past March. All has gone smoothly thus far.

            The online ordering is managed by Nudy and marketing partner, Chris Crafton. Nudy receives and email for each order that is placed online, so he is constantly up-to-date on the influx of orders in all of their locations.

            “Nudy’s has the best breakfast food – honestly we love going but we hate waiting,” says class of ’10 graduate Allison Soss, who agrees with Wilson.

            Nudy and Crafton are working on a “figure it out as you go” mentality, in which they will be learning more about the online ordering system as any issues arise. But for now, the number of orders is steadily on the rise, on average about 10 per day.

            “Online ordering is great because it eliminates orders being misconstrued in translation as well as saves time,” says Natalie Grimsley.

One thing we will not get in Downingtown is Donna. I must tell you that I travel a lot, and have had many very nice and efficient servicers over many years. Donna is at a higher level. We ate breakfast at your Frazier location, I think. It was next to the Malvern Post Office but the front looked more like the Phoenixville location. We were there this past Monday and Donna was our server. As a business owner myself, I just had to let you know what a terrific experience we had. We stumbled on your cafe on our way home from a gift show at the convention center in Phoenixville and it could not have been a happier accident! Donna was just great! Quick, great sense of humor, attention to detail and overall a wonderful waitress. The food was so good! Especially the raisin bread! I love scrapple and too often no one serves it anymore. Hello-I'd like to share with the owners why my family and I love Nudy's in Phoenixville so much........the staff is fantastic! There are three special people at this location who are always there when we come for breakfast and who treat us like royalty-Delmi, Bobby Jo, and Mai Tai (sorry if I spelled those wrong)! These women are so kind, and treat our two small children with such care and good humor-it's not easy to engage kids and these women are so great at it. Anyone who makes my kids feel like an important customer-even though they're only three-is a super star to me! We are a busy family and we eat out a lot-way more than we should, and the only reason we keep coming back here is because we are treated like friends and that really makes a huge difference. Please reward these ladies-they deserve it!!

I was introduced to Nudy's last weekend. We made a quick trip up from Florida to see my nephew at Paoli hospital. We enjoyed an incredible lunch there on Saturday and ten returned for an even better breakfast on Sunday. The staff, the food and the environment were top notch! My only complaint is that you are so far away I can't enjoy it back here in Florida! Keep up the good work!

I had pancakes with bananas and pecans at Nudy's Cafe, and they defeated me.
That is, I couldn't finish it, as much as I wanted to. It's not often that I get defeated at breakfast. But defeat never tasted this good.

I love the crabmeat eggs benedict at Nudy's Cafe.
It's the perfect Sunday morning brunch meal on the main line. I am also a fan of their fluffy chocolate chip pancakes and omelets (try it with either the lox or peepers and cheese). And don't leave without getting the hash browns! You would be doing your mouth a huge disservice. Service is always fast and friendly, although it can get crowded at peak times

My husband enjoys their omelets. We recently tried them for lunch and found that they also have yummy sandwiches, salads, and soups. Friendly wait staff and a pretty quick kitchen round this off to be a well run local business that we are happy to patronize.

Been to Nudy's Cafe a couple of times now and I will definitely go back.
Last time we went we were seated outside immediately and the food rocked…again. Omelets, breakfast burritos, coffee, etc…the only part of the menu we haven’t tried is lunch. But going on the trend of bfast food quality I doubt you can go wrong. Go get some!

My pancakes were sweet and moist, with ample bits of chocolate throughout.
Syrup, butter and whipped cream made this the perfect indulgence for a lazy Saturday. My friend's eggs were served on an english muffin with the usual accouterments and yummy hash browns. Both dishes were scarfed down quickly.

Nudy's Cafe omelets and pancakes are terrific.
Nudy's Cafe has an excellent selection geared towards virtually everyone. People who want the sweet pancakes with syrup and whipped cream will be in their own personal heaven...people who just want a great protein omelet with their choice of meat and cheese will be thrilled...and people who want something more sophisticated like eggs benedict or a great hollandaise sauce will be very, very happy.

This is where I go when I want an awesome breakfast on the main line
Huge morning menu with a waiting line to match, if you don't get there early. When it's lunch time, I can find all of my favorite salads, sandwiches, soups. It's homey and no frills, in an old Wayne house, with reliable servers who are there to make sure you are fed and served well. There's overflow seating on the side of the building, enclosed by a tent-like structure and counter stools, too.

I mainly go to Nudy's Cafe for the pancakes.
They have a lengthy pancake list, including blueberry, chocolate chip, banana walnut, pineapple, gingerbread and pumpkin pancakes. As a pancake conoisseur, I can assure you that it's a pretty good selection -- and as a fan of all things pumpkin, it's nice to know that I can come here in the off-season.

I like to bring my 97-year-old grandmother here. She fits right in with the rest of the breakfast crowd. She's a little scandalized by the restaurant's name so she pretends that she can't remember it -- instead, she calls it "Unky's" or "Undy's" (which if you think about it, is almost as titillating as "Nudy's").

Nudy's Cafe... besides the funny name this is a great breakfast/brunch/lunch place with some good eats.
Their portions are very generous, never finish my plate.

My all time favorite fatty sandwich is the roasted turkey; slices of roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing.....think there might be lettuce in there somewhere, but it's like Thanksgiving in your mouth!

Omelets... good. Pancakes.. good. Waffles.. good. French toast.. good. Turkey club sandwiches... good.

Actually, the best breakfast food on the main line period I’ve ever eaten out. ALWAYSperfect. And I’ve been to: Wayne, Frazer, Phoenixville, and Exton. All outstanding!

My husband and I are regulars at Nudy's Cafe in Wayne...
as in, we’re there either Saturday or Sunday morning and have been for the past three months. We both love the food there! And we’ve never had poor service whether we sat inside or outside. It’s so nice to have a little family-run restaurant on the main line in our neighborhood…I highly recommend trying it out!
